Chimera Villas are located within a 5 minute walk to the beach. The beaches of Seminyak are quieter then those of Kuta (less hawkers) but are great for lounging or playing in the waves…with a surf board or without. Welcome to bring a towel from the villa and don’t forget your sunblock! Shopping is also a 5 minute walk away to Jalan Laksmana (also called Eat Street or Jalan Oberoi). The street has many clothing and art work boutiques boasting the latest Balinese designs. Eating in or out in Seminyak is probably the most attractive part of Villa Chimera. It’s location allows you many choices within walking distance or a short taxi drive.

Terms :

VILLA CAPACITY The numbers of persons occupying each Villa must not exceed the maximum number stated in the booking confirmation. Chimera Villas reserves the right to refuse any booking, which, in its opinion, is unsuitable for the property concerned. The maximum occupancy for a two bedroom Villa is four (4) adults & two (2) children. The maximum occupancy for a three bedroom Villa is six (6) adults & three (3) children.

CHILDREN POLICY Our Children’s policy is to provide one (1) extra bed for one child under 15 years old. In the case of two children, we allow one (1) child under 5 years old to sleep with parents and we will provide an extra bed for children 5 to 15 years old.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS Chimera Villas will provide 1 (one) superior standard vehicle per Villa for guest transfers from and to the Airport. In the case where more than 1 (one) vehicle is required due to numbers of accompanying baggage, the charge of the extra vehicle/s will be passed on to the client.

BREAKFAST The Chimera Villas breakfast is inclusive in the nightly accommodation rate. Any other breakfast items which are selected outside of the Chimera Villas Breakfast, will be charged to the guest accordingly

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS Wireless internet access is inclusive in the nightly accommodation rate. For guests who do not have a laptop or who have a laptop where wireless access is not available to them, dial up internet charges incurred will be charged to the guest.

EVENTS/PARTIES Normal bookings are for vacation purposes and special permissions must be obtained for functions where the number of people in attendance exceeds 150% of the capacity of the villa. Also clients should be aware that these are private villas located in residential neighborhood and, as such, not all functions or events can necessarily be accommodated. Much depends on the vagaries of the neighborhood residents. An additional Banjar (local community body) fee may be applicable.

DAMAGE/LOSSES The guest is responsible for leaving the property in good order and in a clean condition. The guest further undertakes to pay for any damages or losses incurred during occupation. Chimera Villas reserves the right to repossess the property if the guest or a member of the guests party has caused excessive damage.

The Seri Villas  Seminyak features nine 2 & 3 bedroom luxury Villas with private pools. All of the villas are completely self-contained and secure, linked by a walled lane and heralded by traditional Balinese gateways crafted from creamy white Yogya stone. Behind each pair of wooden garden doors, stands a Balinese Hindu structure known as the aling aling, a short screen wall designed to protect the property.

The architecture is a charming fusion of modern Balinese and minimalist tropical design, which makes effective use of natural texture and local materials, while also incorporating the essential elements of Balinese Hindu philosophy and symbolism. The stylish and comfortable interiors have been individually designed by Cempaka the Island’s leading British interior design company. Each villa is different, yet all feature an elegant cappuccino and white decor, fine furnishings, plush features and the latest technology.

The Seri Villas – Seminyak management provides full hotel services supported by a carefully selected team of highly trained, friendly staff who will do their best to ensure that our guests experience a truly enjoyable stay in Bali.
Personal butlers are on hand 24 hours a day to pamper and look after every need of our guests throughout the duration of their stay. The personal butlers will provide well-informed guide to Bali’s day and nightlife, fine dining reservations, villa cocktail parties, arrange island tours, in-room spa and massage services, cultural activities, sports activities, personal shopping tours, in-villa entertainment and travel confirmations.

The team also includes cooks, receptionists, housekeepers, gardeners, pool attendants and maintenance staff. Security guards operate on a 24-hour shift basis.

Breakfast is prepared & served in the Villa. The cooks are trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. They are responsible for all the market shopping, in accordance with the needs and the whims of the guests. The housekeepers fulfil all of the housekeeping duties while also taking care of the daily laundry. Baby-sitting services, and the facilities of a car and driver and private tours are also available on request at an extra charge.

Laksmana Garden Villas

Designed by Dean Kempnich, with landscaping by Anto Kusnanto, the LGV style blends modern Balinese architecture with minimalist design, local materials, colourful decor and sumptuous fabrics. All of the villas are completely self-contained and secure, heralded by welcome statues and chiselled paras-stone private entrances, which are linked by a walled lane lined with green foliage. All bedrooms have cable TV with DVD/CD players. Each villa boasts a separate staff entrance leading directly into the villa kitchen, allowing a greater element of privacy for the guests.

The close proximity of the four villas means that the enclave is ideal for larger groups of people, or families, who want to be close to each other while still retaining an element of independence and privacy. LGV presents a total of seven double air-conditioned bedrooms together with one study, four swimming pools and seven tropical bathrooms which, if rented as a block, can sleep fourteen adults and two children. The 2-bedroom Villa Kawi and the 1-bedroom Villa Solo can be joined to form a 3-bedroom villa.

The entrance to the complex features a spacious car parking area fringed by trees, a welcoming reception area, a security post, a guest toilet, and a business centre equipped with computers, Broadband Internet access, a fax machine and a photocopier for the use of the guests. Wireless Broadband Internet is accessible throughout the complex.

The three 2-bedroom villas, and one 1-bedroom villa are each comprised of two pavilions and a swimming pool nestled within a sunny, walled courtyard garden, planted with flowering trees and shrubs. Timber poolside sundecks are furnished with sunloungers and an umbrella, and stone-carved waterspouts provide the serene and constant sound of running water.

Each open-sided living and dining pavilion features a soaring roof supported by richly grained coconut wood pillars above a cool terrazzo floor. Ceiling fans and gentle breezes keep this area cool, and bamboo blinds can be dropped for privacy and shade. Looking out over the tropical garden and pool, this area is perfect for entertaining and enjoying the laid-back lifestyle for which Bali has become so famous. The pavilions are tastefully furnished with deeply cushioned rattan lounge suites, scatter cushions, coffee and dining tables, arching chrome standard lamps, original artwork and local artefacts. Each pavilion also integrates an open-plan kitchen, each equipped with a marble work top, a two-burner gas hob, a refrigerator, a microwave, shelves, storage cupboards, and a good range of utensils.

The stylish, air-conditioned bedrooms feature terrazzo floors and colourful artwork. Each is furnished with a canopied queen size bed, large comfy chairs, shelf units, table lamps, a teak desk, a wardrobe and deep pile floor rugs. Each is equipped with a flat screen cable TV, a DVD/CD player, a safe deposit box, and an STD telephone. The decor is complemented by sumptuous Jim Thomson silk bedcovers and cushions. The en-suite, semi open-air, marble bathrooms each feature a terrazzo vanity unit, ‘his and hers’ washbasins, a separate powerful raindrop shower, a white bathtub with a marble surround, a toilet, a hairdryer, a shaving mirror, and a large wall mirror.

The 1-bedroom Villa Solo also incorporates a study area with a cushioned daybed, while the 2-bedroom Villa Ubud is characterised by an upper storey featuring a sunset deck with a teak balustrade, a cushioned daybed and a coffee table. This is the perfect spot for relaxing with a book or enjoying a late afternoon cocktail.

Villa Toba (2br) was named after Lake Toba in Indonesia’s North Sumatra Province; it is the largest lake in all of Southeast Asia, and Villa Toba boasts the largest swimming pool in the LGV enclave.

Villa Kawi (2br) was named after a spiritual mountain in East Java, a place where pilgrims seek to increase their worldly blessings.

Villa Solo (1br) was named after the historic sultanate city of Solo in Central Java.
